- MAXTRAX is the lightweight, easy-to-use vehicle recovery and extraction device thats easily carried by almost anything with four-wheels ensuring an easy way out if your vehicle becomes stuck.
- MAXTRAX takes the drama out of getting stuck. The aggressive large cleats on MAXTRAX sink their teeth into the tyre tread and the terrain under your 4WD vehicle to prevent it from slipping back into mud, snow, or sand and make vehicle recovery quick and easy.
- MAXTRAX is the perfect fit for every outing. Measuring just 1150mm long X 330mm wide x 85mm tall (45 inches long X 13 inches wide), each set of MAXTRAX stacks together at a height of just 95mm per pair. MAXTRAX stows easily with the rest of your car camping, overlanding, or four-wheel drive touring gear.
- Made of UV-stabilized, flexible, super toughengineering-grade reinforced nylon, MAXTRAX provides traction and a firm base to get your vehicle quickly back on track. They have been tested at the University of Queensland to wrap completely around a 33-inch tire without breaking.
- Each MAXTRAX weighs just 3.4 kilograms (7.5 pounds). MAXTRAX is easy to carry and thanks to its signature double-edged design, it's easy and quick to manoeuvre under your tires.
- MAXTRAX have six comfortable built-in handles and a shovel at either end for removing excess earth to help get you unstuck quicker. They also have exclusive keyhole accessory points to allow you to securely mount your MAXTRAX.

Saved JJ Richards dump truck!!
We ran dog boarding kennels and had JJ Richard’s come to empty a big industrial bin on our property after torrential rain had hit the area, after emptying the bin the driver reversed back onto super soft grass and the 24t truck sunk! He tried forward and backwards only chewing up the ground even more, then I thought about my MAX TRAX and asked the driver to try them, he was hesitant because we knew the 24t truck would more than likely ruin them but it was going to cost $3000 and take 4 hrs for a recovery, so we went ahead with the plan and to everyone’s amazement the 2 little MAX TRAX done the job, we stuck them under the drive wheels and it slowly crept out of the massive mud bog, saving JJ Richard’s $3k and time delays, JJ Richard’s area manager come and personally replaced my ruined MAX TRAX with a brand new set and they were seriously considering equipping every truck with a set of MAX TRAX to hopefully save them money and time in the future, we tried sending the video to MAX TRAX, only to receive another brand new set from MAX TRAX headquarters along with a few little surprises, so thank you MAX TRAX for the present it was put to good use while we were out wheeling. These things work awesome and make recovering bogged 4x4’s easy as!

To strap or not to strap
Helped a mate who had turtled his 4wd and Jayco camper on the single lane at Champagne Pools on Gari. It took us hours to get him up on his Maxtrax and mine (in the end I had to pull him backwards with my 4wd just to get him on them so he could floor it forward and get through the soft stuff at speed). But once we got through to loads of jeers / cheers from a huge line of cars we had held up (it was Boxing Day) two of our Maxtrax had been buried and couldn’t be found. We hadn’t put straps on them and thought it best to get out of the way of everyone now that we were moving. However two days later we went back to the Pools and I had a dig around with my shovel - within a few steps I found my missing Maxtrack. It must have helped a couple of hundred cars in those two days = magic recovery product.
